Description
Susan McCourt
I'm doing HTML5 file upload on drag in bug 393464. This bug was really about dragging and dropping within the web page. I have committed changes to support DND between nav explorers and in the same nav explorer. Antonm, please try this out. Note that we only copy files right now. We should be able to move files as well. http://git.eclipse.org/c/orion/org.eclipse.orion.client.git/commit/?id=3ffbb84cc5e189631cba0e381b329eef12e585ac I discovered this today. Some comments: - Copy being the default action on drag is confusing. If I drag a file from one folder to the other in Orion I would expect the default to be move - The tree layout looks broken after dragging. The folder being dragged into jumps up to the top level. On page refresh it is back in the right place. This is on Win 7, Chrome 31 (In reply to John Arthorne from comment #3) > I discovered this today. If I drag a file from > one folder to the other in Orion I would expect the default to be move Added support to move a file in the same nav. Move is the default operation. User holds ctrl down to change to copy (alt on the Mac). http://git.eclipse.org/c/orion/org.eclipse.orion.client.git/commit/?id=7580970120a94ac4985742f64896276d1bf3e89b > - The tree layout looks broken after dragging.
