If a State or a continuing transition does not contain code (exit/entry or transition) it is more handy to define them without empty brackets. The Patch provides necessary changes in the grammer.
Unfortionally the patch contains all changes not just the ROOM.xtext file.

For the next opportunity:
Before you create the patch in case of grammar changes you can revert the changes introduced by the xtext generator.
