Description Holger Staudacher CLA 2011-03-03 06:21:16 EST
On the Mac OS Cocoa packages the eclipse.ini contains the -Dorg.eclipse.swt.internal.carbon.smallFonts attribute. I think this attribute has no effect on cocoa, only on carbon.

This is the related bug for the attribute for cocoa: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=225266
Comment 1 Markus Knauer CLA 2011-05-26 14:47:41 EDT
I was looking into other packages, e.g. the SDK build, and found in all eclipse/Eclipse.app/Contents/MacOS/eclipse.ini files the -Dorg.eclipse.swt.internal.carbon.smallFonts parameter.

eclipse-SDK-3.7RC2-macosx-carbon.tar.gz
eclipse-SDK-3.7RC2-macosx-cocoa.tar.gz
eclipse-SDK-3.7RC2-macosx-cocoa-x86_64.tar.gz

I am not going to change anything, resolved as WONTFIX. In any case it doesn't seem to hurt if the parameter is there, and I do not have a chance to test what happens without this parameter. If someone has other experiences and is able to test the results, please re-open the bug.
