Dali provides a nice GUI editor for persistence.xml
For the field <jta-data-source>jdbc/__default</jta-data-source>, it only provides a text field.
It would be nice to provide an extension that a server (for example the Glassfish server via its WTP adapter) could use to give a list of possible good values, as well as an action to call if a user wants to create a new datasource.
This list would be determined by the server target of the particular Eclipse project, (as well as the action).

NetBeans does that for example and it solves a lot of issue from a user perspective.
Of course, if the current server does not implement this extension, the editor would default to the current simple text field with no validation.

Reproducible: Always
