Description
Alexandra Schladebeck
The editor does also not become dirty when performing a d&d action to reference an existing test suite. Any problems in the Test Job editor are also not shown in the problems view. When looking at implementing this, we should decide whether all the topics here belong together, or whether separate tasks / issues are required. Implementing one of these things does not necessarily mean having to do all of them at the same time. Could you please attach a patch for this? Created attachment 209796 [details]
Patch for the missing angled brackets
Problem with the missing angled brackets is solved and the referenced test suit have the same color like a referenced test case.
The "referenced Test Suite Name" bug will have a extra patch
Reviewed and applied with http://git.eclipse.org/c/jubula/org.eclipse.jubula.core.git/commit/?id=cf3f810bc89911b4ca7fdae3e5c05f8729dd25d7 Fix verified manually: the name referenced TSs are shown in brackets, changes made in the TJ and/or the included TSs let the TJ editor become dirty, changes can be saved. The names of the referenced TSs in a TJ are shown grey in the TSB. Created attachment 210043 [details]
fix for the missing reference name / specification name
A reference test suite has now the same name fields in the property view like a reference test case ( reference name and specification name added ) with the same functionality. That means if you are adding a reference name to the RefTestSuite the formation will have the same look like a RefTestCase: refname (specname).
This issue still contains un-applied patches. I currently reject the patch due to the following issues: - importing projects leads to losing manually entered ref test suite names - I am not sure which kind of backwards compatibility / - behavior we want to achieve - some qualifiers refer to "testCaseNames" - this indicates C&P: please check and remove those - the patch contains changes for the component name browser - I don't know how this is related to the test job editor I'm closing this as wontfix. I think there are still (separately written) problems with the test job editor. We're not working on the current patch, or on the problem in general. Closed due to comment 11 |
