Oh wait... there's more to this. We need to keep the old CVS and downloads areas alive for a while longer. Let's hold on this until we get a go-ahead from Steffen. Steffen, are we almost done with tools.mylyn? I think we can now safely archive CVS. We have already decommissioned the user groups so as long as we can keep the files under download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn for a while longer I am happy to shutdown the old tools project. Matt, can you please complete the shutdown of tools.mylyn? Per comment #3, we'd like to keep download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn around for a while longer. I see that it's owned by the mylyn group, so I'm pretty sure there'll be no ill effects if we shut down tools.mylyn. Ok done. -M. It looks like we're done here. Just for reference, where did the old CVS location under /cvsroot/tools/org.eclipse.mylyn archived? (In reply to comment #7) > Just for reference, where did the old CVS location under > /cvsroot/tools/org.eclipse.mylyn archived? That's a good question. Usually we leave the old VCS data for 6 months or so, but since it's not there I'm going to assume that I deleted it(although I don't recall doing so) in response to comment 4. It's certainly available from our tape archive if we really need it back. -M. Okay, good to know. There were a few projects that didn't get converted since they are no longer part of Mylyn. I still have a copy of the CVS on build.eclipse.org that I'll put somewhere in case we ever want to resurrect that code. |
