I have Eclipse PDT with zend debugger and zend server running on the same machine. The debugger works OK for one request only. After the request is processed the debug session terminates. This makes it impossible to debug, for example, page post backs. Is this what zend debugger can only up to? How to debug multi-requests session then?

PDT keep xdebug web session opened. 

You can enable jit and multisession in eclipse xdebug settings. After that eclipse will accept sessions invoked by browser.
