Hi Xuan, thanks for reviewing but could you please review the new patch.  Some changes were made as per the discussion in the original bug.

Released into 3.2.2+

Note that from now on, when you want something in 3.2.2+ you'll have to release it into the Mapfile yourself (after code review from 1 committer).
