Description Axel Werner CLA 2011-02-22 09:12:08 EST
Build Identifier: 20100917-0705

i recently viewed the javadoc popup on a "StringBuilder.toString()" call and figured that the Text is not beeing auto-wrapped correctly leaving "some free space" between the words and the boarder ON THE RIGHT EDGE of the popup thingy.

Reproducibility is "sometimes" because the effect depends on the the actual content of the javadoc popup AND where you called the popup on the screen.

What i can say is, that the line-wrapper seems to work perfectly on the physical right edge of the popup border. BUT it should wrap lines a little "earlier" so there keeps some space between the most right words and the physical right boarder of the popup window (or thingy).

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. put some code somewhere on the right half of your monitor/editor window: new Scanner(xxxx.toString();
2. hover the mouse above "toString()"
3. the javadoc text MIGHT be auto-wrapped ON THE EDGE of the popup window, instead of wrapping -4 Pixels earlier to keep some space for better readability.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
