Description Werner Keil CLA 2011-02-17 13:29:42 EST
I just had a look into the RCP Client for Marketplace from an Indigo Milestone.
When I noticed, Categories contain 2 ancient, long depracated and phased out terms
- J2EE Development Platform
- J2ME

I know, Marketplace was the result of a much older portal (Eclipse Plugin-Central or similar) being taken over and refurbished by Eclipse Foundation, but I didn't fully realize somebody had forgotten those old terms, from a time when I was among the contributors to Sysdeo Tomcat Launcher, the first "J2EE" Plugin for Eclipse, then correctly called so ;-)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

I am changing this to WONT FIX.

I beleive we should keep this categories since they are in use.
