Files sent via GenericFileHandler are sent without setting a content type header. The browsers are pretty good at guessing however we should make an attempt to set the content type. One easy way to do this is with help from ServletContext.getMimeType(path)

Take a look at org.eclipse.equinox.http.servlet.internal.ResourceServlet for an example.
