Since EPF1.5.1, there is option in the new lbirary wizard: "Use auto synchronization for all processes", which by default is checked. If it is not checked, a synchronization required library (all the old version libraries are syn-required libs) will be creatd. The tool does not allow the mix of the library types by import. Make sure your currently openned lib is also a syn-required lib when you import one that is syn-required. You can then convert it to an auto-syn lib after the import. Auto synchronization processes and processes without specific method configurations are two improvements over existing process authroing capabilities. Unfortunately they are not described in the on-line help contents, but we do mention them in the EPF Composer 1.5.1 release notes. To read more details on them please refer to Rational Method Composer 7.5.1 Information Center that does document both of them. You could consider upgrading to Rational method composer that includes many advanced features such as tagging, web publishing skins, etc in addition to better documentation and technical support. Thanks very much. Here is the URL:

Thanks.
Hello ,first of all thanks for answering. I need to clarify your text. Are you proposing me ("You could consider upgrading....) to update the web page of Rational method composer with your solution text ? If so, have I permission ?

What I meant is that you can acquire Rational Method Composer that has more detailed documentation and much richer feature set. Please refer to http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rup/ I don't follow your question on "... updating web pages". Updating which web pages and what permissions? Regards. Please drop my question, I have misunderstood your comment. Regards. Steps executed: 1 File ---> import 2 Select xml from Import wizard 3 Select file with browse tool 4 leaving defualt values (but same behaviour also with the others) I Always get this error message: "Importing library data from a synchronization required library to an auto-synchronized library is not supported"
