This may also be interesting for other widgets like List, Combo, Text... Although I consider strike-through text more as a functional aspect than just look-and-feel, I don't see any practical alternative to this proposal to enable strike-though for Trees and Tables. Since we already implemented the "text-decoration" property for Labels, I agree that we can also provide it for Trees and Tables.
