Looking at http://remus-software.org/bamboo/browse/RCP there seem to exist no (automated) (JUnit-)Tests for RIM. A reasonable amount of tests would establish more trust in your software, I think, for at least the core functionality.

Right. I've migrated the few testcases to eclipse.org and integrated them into the build-system. Of course the current amount is too less, but at least if these testcases fail the build will fail. Writing or executing testcases should be now much easier with the build-integration.
