Description Kyle P CLA 2011-02-10 13:54:31 EST
Build Identifier: 20100917-0705

Eclipse can perform this refactoring perfectly if you select Refactor->Extract Superclass. However, once you create a script from an instance of this refactoring involving multiple (newly) subclasses, you cannot apply that script. The wizard reports that the 2nd, 3rd, etc classes cannot be found.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Refactor-> Extract Superclass
2.Add another class to the refactoring so you have at least two subclasses for the new superclass
3.Create a script from this refactoring
4.Undo you refactoring in Eclipse
5.Tell Eclipse to use the script it created to redo the refactoring
6.See it declare the second class non-existant and therefore unable to proceed in the refactoring

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
