We should offer the possibility to use GMF diagram models with CDO.

This would seem like a reasonable enhancement request. 

Keep in mind we cannot break API, features or packaging in Indigo.

CDO now contains native support for GMF Notation models, see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=534791.
