Description
Benjamin Muskalla
Bug 331154 added a new flag to control enablement but it's currently only supported by operations. We couldn't easily toggle between a presentation for read only mode and a mode that allows modification since the framework uses different controls for rendering but we could work around that through using control enablement. Would that work for you? And if so, would you be able to provide a patch :)? Makes way more sense to have a dedicated disabled state (disabled combo is better than textfield for this case). Will come up with a patch, we have to tackle all TaskAttribute editors with this change or should we limit it to the SingleSelectionEditor for now? We can do it incrementally. Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1]. We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub. [1] https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-mylyn |
