Since RDz 8.0.1, we have noticed that when you switch to a different valid workspace from the pull down menu, nothing happens and you need to select the same workspace from the menu again before the switch takes place. I am not sure it this is the same problem as https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=244316.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have multiple workspaces so while attempting to switch to a different workspace, you have at least another workspace in the pull down menu.
2.While in a workspace, attempt to do File > Switch workspace and select another workspace.Nothing happens.
3.Repeat 2. and now you can switch.

Yes, this looks like the same problem.  There's a window in which those items will be invalid the first time that menu is shown, see bug 244316 comment #2
