Currently the JAXB feature requires the JPT feature which includes all JPA functionality. We either need both a JPT feature and a JPA feature or we need to rename the JPT feature to JPA and make JAXB not dependent on it.

The plan is to have separate features, so we need to rename the jpt features to be jpt.jpa, and their version number needs to be 3.0.0.  In addition the JAXB dependency on this feature should be removed as stated in comment 0.

In addition, jpt.eclipselink needs to become jpt.jpa.eclipselink.

I'm not sure if you're done with bug since it's still open, but it's sounds like you were done in the meeting.

org.eclipse.jpt.tests.feature needs to be renamed to org.eclipse.jpt.jpa.tests.feature

This feature could also be split up and another feature org.eclipse.jpt.jpa.eclipselink.tests.feature created. This would make the test features match the core features.

It would be helpful to remove all the files from CVS for the old features that need to be archived and leave behind the .project with a comment like we have done in other renamed projects.
