Description eclipse CLA 2011-02-04 07:06:11 EST
Hi,

I notice that the "Package Explorer" view displays all packages, classes, methods, variables etc currently set in the Mylyn context however the "Navigator" view displays these breifly but then looses these resources after a very short while.

At this point viewing the context again show's me all the items I am expecting to see, the "Package Explorer" still displays these same items, only the "Navigator" appears to have lost the information.

Further investigation with this looks like it's related to the ALT-Click mechanism.

I noticed that nothing at all was being populated within the "Navigator" view today, so I tried using the ALT-Click mechanism and as expected all the branches below the node I clicked on within the tree were made visible for a period of time. Interestingly though (after this short period had ended) all nodes disappeared just leaving behind the classes I have been looking at this morning within that package. It's almost like something was reset from that node I clicked downwards. So I played a bit with ALT-Clicking at the project and src folder level and a few more of the items I've been using now appear.

Looking more and more like a real bug!!

Thanks

Can you attach a screenshot of the package explorer and navigator of the same context? It would be helpful to see the exact differences. Also note bug 341631 which describes how interest decays over time.
