hi,

this is very annoying to have the content asissts that shows up each time i stroke the '[' key ... 

i would like to have the control of the content assits myself, only with CTRl + SPACE !

After some debate, let me be clearer.

the content assist automatically shows up when i type '.' or '-' or ':' chars. it would be nice to have them only inside a request context beginning with [

The associated gerrit change disables auto-activation of the completion within plain text areas (only). It can still be triggered on-demand through the usual ctrl+space.
