Description Matt MacIvor CLA 2011-02-03 10:19:14 EST
When an XMLChoiceCollectionMappingNodeValue marshals an XMLRoot it checks to see if the localname and namespace match the field represented by that nodevalue. If they don't, it doesn't marshal. This means that if the localname and namespace don't match *any* fields represented by this choice, then nothing will marshal. Instead if no fields match, eclipselink should marshal based on the type of the value wrapped in the root.
