The following JIRA are dupes of this issue because I didn't notice that the JIRA for MNGECLIPSE is now read-only. Gah.

The fix is simple:

add a version='1.0.0' attribute into the <repository> node, as you already do for the other m2e site, http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e/

BTW, there's no bugzilla component for "update site" or "build" or "releng" so I dumped this in "ui". Your project lead or PMC can add new bugzilla components to your bugzilla product via portal.eclipse.org.
