Test project / launch configuration that causes the problem? > > Could be related to bug 327446 The same issue appear to me with Version: 3.6.2 Build id: M20110112-0800 I run an external program (windows bat) and I notice that IDE always wait for build before launching command even if I uncheck the checkbox. External tool builders belong to Ant. Testing on 3.7 this works for me. Just to confirm, when you refer to 'un-checking the checkbox' are you referring to the one on the Run/Debug > Launching preference page or the one on the Build tab of the launch configuration? The second one, the build tab on the launch configuration I run an external program via "External Tools Configurations", not an Ant build in this case. It's the same ? This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it.
