I don't know if it's the same issue, but can you try the solution mentioned in bug 333227? Add -XX:-UseCompressedOops to eclipse.ini I have lots more such crash logs, from 2 different machines. I only have one machine on which it's still sort of working, and I've no idea why. I reinstalled Suse 11.3, from scratch on a clean disk, to try to solve this, it still crashes. I purposely installed only one JRE, the sun (oracle) one, fresh from their stable download site. I have tried a couple of fixes (see the eclipse.ini) in a fruitless attempt to cure this. (In reply to comment #4) > I don't know if it's the same issue, but can you try the solution mentioned in > bug 333227? > > Add > -XX:-UseCompressedOops > to eclipse.ini I had searched this bug, but it was blamed on Java, and it was a different Java. However the fix seems to work, it doesn't crash. I'll try it also on the other machine. Thank you Duplicate problem, different OS. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 333227 *** |
