build: master as of 20110125

Attempting to create an account using IE 8 causes an error. The error dialog says, "'dojo.byId(...)' is null or not an object"

Despite the error, if I then close the dialog and refresh the page, I am logged in.

Thanks John, 
the same problem occurred on login as well, so the dialog was totally useless, only because pane with [sign out] button didn't exist on this page.
It should be working fine now.
