I think it's been a long time since I've seen this work : in the form based editor, plugins tab, the <> button is supposed to open the current plugin configuration in the pom.xml view. It doesn't do anything, whether the selected plugin has a custom configuration or not.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a maven project
2.Open the pom.xml in the form based editor
3.go on the plugins tab
4.Add a plugin, say maven-compiler-plugin
5.click on the <> (Open XML Configuration) button (in the configuration block)
6.Nothing happens. Expected behavior : the pom.xml tab should open, caret positioned on the selected plugin

we have removed the plugins page from the form editor. closing as wontfix (or would invalid be better?)
