We've been having seemingly random failures in formatting-related tests for a while now.  Looks like we've got a slight timing issue in our translator where it's possible for the internal fields and translated text to be cleared out for retranslation, but with the formatting requesting that translated text in the moments between the clearing and the retranslation.
