Open a HTML file in eclipse html editor. click on html editor to highlight html editor. you can see the Source menu in the top listed menus. now click on the project explorer view, see that the source menu vanishes. this doesn't happen for java editor.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open html file in html editor
2. click somewhere inside html editor, and observe Source menu presence in top shown menus.
3. click somewhere on project explorer view, observe that source menu vanishes from the top shown menus.

Hi Sidhartha,

The Source and Refactor menu items do not have actions that are capable of running when the editor is not in focus, much like with the Java editor whose list of actions are disabled. I guess the end result in either case is that you cannot execute these actions, which is expected. Is this alright?

This outcome is working as designed.
