When opening a task from the repository, if you save it or submit, it should be added to the task list automatically. This should prevent receiving an incoming notification for a task on which you just added yourself as CC.

+1 makes sense to me to add tasks on submit and save.

Steffen, here's a patch. This will add it when saving or submitting (even when submitting with no changes, which I think makes most sense).

I think tasks should also be added to the task list when scheduled.

Seems like tasks are not added to the task list when clicking the button to schedule for today, only when actually selecting a date from the dropdown. I'll look into this.

We won't be able to address that for 3.5 anymore. Please open a new bug and we'll fix it for 3.6.
