I guess you are talking about http://vaadin.com/eclipse. It seems you can install it only via their update site. You could install it on a machine that has access to the internet and just copy it to your machine using an USB key or something. That would mean I would have to first download and install Eclipse on my local box and then download that plugin. This is a lot just to grab one plugin. Also once the plugin is downloaded how would I know what plugin files to move over. Downloading a plugin used to be a lot simpler you just download and extract into your eclipse install folder. Are there any plugins still that way or is everything going toward using the Eclipse New Software feature ? I don't think we can do anything about that. |
