As is done elsewhere, it would be very useful if the Virgo documentation listed the event log messages that Virgo produces. We should make sure it is easy to find this documentation by typing the event log message number into an internet search engine.

Warning and error messages can often be avoided by user action such as reconfiguration and we would have somewhere standard to document such user action.

We could also describe what causes a message to be issued and the state of Virgo after the message is issued.
