See screenshot, if the tag on a version in git is too long, it gets truncated with "..."

As far as I can tell, there is no way to see the entire tag.

One solution would be a separate pane in the view that shows all the tag like in the CVS history view.

Same for the indicator that marks the tip of each branch. It is especially troublesome for remote tracking branches, since they all begin with the remote name. For example, with the common remote name "origin", I can only see four more characters of the branch name.

It would be great if there was a "tooltip" which came up when you hovered over the branch/tag decoration to show the full name. Other possibilities include a preference that can be selected to show full branch/tag names in the history view or to show the branch(es)/tag(s) that are on the currently selected commit, like "gitk" does, although I think real-estate in the history view is premium enough that I think this is the least preferable idea.

Fixed for 0.12 M1 on change fc3cc337df2486c3d20e53897886f4261ddd31fa. We now show the full name when hovering over the label.
