Description Hristo Iliev CLA 2011-01-06 06:59:29 EST
Equinox launcher is needed to replace the Virgo launcher and thus allow usage of Virgo as target platform

SimpleConfigurator bundle is needed to integrate with P2 (both as provisioning mechanism and as Eclipse target platform)
Comment 1 Glyn Normington CLA 2011-01-06 07:01:56 EST
Any particular versions needed?
Comment 2 Hristo Iliev CLA 2011-01-06 10:47:47 EST
The version from the release train of the OSGi framework should do. Since we are now running with 3.7 I guess we should just get the bundles from the Equinox download.

For testing I took the bundles from here:
http://download.eclipse.org/equinox/drops/S-3.7M4-201012081300/download.php?dropFile=equinox-SDK-3.7M4.zip

These can now be added by any committer using sftp to virgoBuild@build.eclispe.org. In the externals dir under rt/virgo/

Duplicate of bug 363146 which takes care of uploading the launcher and SC as part of other p2 bundles.
