It would be great to have steps. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 322914 *** Honestly I don't have any steps. I really just double clicked on the margin to add a breakpoint. I wonder if a compile job was finishing, and we hit a subtle race condition. I'll look at the duplicate bug report and see if I can make heads or tails of this. |
Created attachment 186069 [details] Stack dump Build: 3.6.1 After setting a breakpoint, Eclipse hung. I took a stack dump and it appears the UI thread is waiting inside: org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.javaeditor.ASTProvider.getAST(ASTProvider.java:456) I'll attach the stack dump.
