I use egit to commit time, can't commit if there's Chinese characters in commit log.

Can you describe what you cannot do? I the commit part a problem, or do you have a problem later on?

That bug talks about filenames and this one about the commit message. That basic problem is the same, filenames and commit messages affect completely different parts of Git.

it's not related to 'core.quotepath', because i use 'git' in command line directly, and  ggit and other git tools can handle it correctly. Please refer to this picture: http://i.imgur.com/MwH86.jpg ,I input Chinese characters in commit message, but can't use the "commit" button.

core.quotepath has nothing whatsoever to do with your problem. My remark was to an another issue.

I'm not even sure it has to do with EGit since that screenshot looks nothing like EGit's commit dialog? It appears to come from gitx.
