1. Clone a new repository using ssh:// as the protocol (don't know if that matters)
2. "Password Required" dialog pops up, but it doesn't allow you to change user name.

I realized after futzing with it that somewhere along the way it was making an assumption about user name, i.e. username@eclipse.org and so "username" wasn't intended to be editable. But the field itself isn't disabled so it appears that you should be able to edit it.
