I wonder if we should just dump all recommended CDT features into the Indigo repo including the CDT SDK. I see a number of other groups doing that. Works for me. It's always awkward to tell users that they can install part of CDT from one update site, but other parts from the cdt-specific site. I find it awkward when I have to do it :). I'll definitely take a look at this. Thanks Beth! Thanks Doug. I didn't see this bug till now. Let me know if you want me to update it instead. (In reply to comment #4) > Thanks Doug. I have a feeling that if we dump everything in it'll ruffle some feathers. I'd rather take the heat for that :). Has anything happened on this? To make the CDT Indigo update site as complete as the CDT-specific update site? Nope, still in the queue. I have too many things on the go at the moment. This may have to wait for M6. Any news on this? We're in the process of updating our included features and would like to get all the UPC stuff within the parallel epp package. Hi, working on this as we speak. Should be ready for M6. This has been done. Yes! We're already including it in the Parallel package. Thanks, Doug. |
Can you please add the Berkeley UPC toolchain feature to Indigo? Unified Parallel C Berkeley UPC Toolchain Support org.eclipse.cdt.bupc.feature.group We would like to include it in the new 'parallel' package (see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=331589) but Indigo packages cannot be built with features that are not already part of Indigo. The BUPC toolchain feature currently isn't installable from the Indigo repo, it's only available on the CDT repo page or from the cdt-master zip.
