Description Elias Volanakis CLA 2010-12-13 17:29:59 EST
The extension point 'org.eclipse.rap.ui.serviceHandler' is missing from the RAP Extension Point Reference. (added in 1.3 M7).

Please update. :-)

Patch

Patch against org.eclipse.rap.ui.help.

Note: not sure where help/html/reference/extension-points/org_eclipse_rap_ui_serviceHandler.html comes from / should be. I assume it is generated?

One closely related point to discuss:

From my POV we should add *all* extension points from o.e.rap.ui to the help. The rationale is that if somebody starts with RAP without knowing RCP they may not be aware that there is o.e.views / perspectives / etc. in there.

Thanks for the patch, Elias. Applied it to both CVS HEAD and 1.3 maintenance branch.

The RCP extension point documentation is part of the Eclipse help already, namely of the Platform Plug-in Developer Guide. I don't think it's a good idea to replicate this content in the RAP developer guide. Could linking be an improvement? If you have a strong opinion about this, please open a separate bug.
