Description Andrew Niefer CLA 2010-12-13 16:21:00 EST
Looking at the emf/emf/updates/2.7milestones repo I see this:

M3:
./core/S201011080959/features/org.eclipse.emf.common_2.6.0.v20101108-0959.jar
./core/S201011080959/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.common_2.6.0.v20101108-0959.jar

M4:
./base/S201012101535/features/org.eclipse.emf.common_2.6.0.v20101105-1217.jar
./base/S201012101535/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.common_2.6.0.v20101105-1217.jar

It appears that the org.eclipse.emf.common feature has decreased in version from M3 to M4.

This is probably a side-effect of splitting the build. The source for this feature and bundle actually hasn't changed since M3, so the content should be correct.

Michal is looking into other features/bundles to see whether there are other problems...
Comment 2 Kenn Hussey CLA 2010-12-15 09:32:04 EST
The root cause turned out to be removal of a method in p2 which happened to have been overridden in Bucksminster; see bug 332614 for details.

A new stable base build of EMF has been promoted. An updated (M4a) build of the core will follow shortly.

Closing all fixed releng bugs.
