Description Lars Vogel CLA 2010-12-13 08:34:36 EST
Plugin "org.eclipse.e4.ui.selection" has syntax errors. I also believe that it is not required anymore as the SelectionServiceImpl seems not contained in "org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench".

Perhaps "org.eclipse.e4.ui.selection" can be deleted in cvs?

Correct, in the end this plugin is not used. If our selection service is not part of the compatibility layer, this is where it should go.

Maybe it just needs to be deleted from the PSFs.

Right now the 4.x ESelectionService is in org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench. I could perhaps refactor the code and then put it this bundle though not likely to be a high priority target.

It doesn't appear to be in any PSFs at the moment.

On that note, Lars, did you find this bundle because of a PSF import or were you just digging around our CVS repository?

I believe I imported the UI PSF and this plugin was important. I can retry if desired.

Can't find this plug-in anymore. I assume it has been deleted in the meantime.
