Fields displayed in the task editor
Fields displayed in the task editor take up a lot of space. Also, there is no way to 'clear' such a field, the empty option is not present.

Minimal display in the web UI
Apparently only the 'set' fields are displayed. Not sure how one can add such a new field though.
Another sample bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=515515. We made some improvements as part of bug 339470 but this doesn't help when a repository has a large number of custom fields. I wonder if we should define a threshold and nest them in a subsection if a repository has more than 6 custom fields for instance. Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1]. We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub. [1] https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-mylyn |
