Initial code contribution.
In case someone comes across this bugzilla item and is wondering what we're up to here - please give us a couple of weeks to let this contribution make its way through the IP review at eclipse.org. We would like to provide more details and explain our vision when the code is in a Git repository rather than just an attachment in bugzilla. Our current estimate is that this will happen in early January. In parallel to the IP review, we will be working on documentation, blog posts, etc. Please let me know via email if you would like to give us feedback on early drafts, or if you have other questions or comments.
