1. Select a file under Git version control > Team > Show History
2. The 'History' view opens and the Git history is displayed.
3. Alt+F to open the 'File' menu.
4. The 'History' view is activated instead. :|

Caused by mnemonic definitions in the nested search tool bar of EGit's history page implementation.
