Some suggestions for Remote configuration improvements:

1. Go to Repos/Remotes/origin/[push config]
2a. Configure Push...

Note that Push URIs can be added and removed, but you can't edit an existing one.

2b. Configure Fetch..

Similarly, when you click on change.. rather than allowing you to edit existing, you can only enter an entirely new one.. (hunt down the URL, etc..)

Also, it would be nice to have the interface for Fetch and Push more consistent -- or better still, integrated, since in the typical usage you are going to be configuring a push and fetch to the same location. From what I understand, you can only have one fetch but multiple pushes but it would still be better to have the interface look similar I think. What would be super nice is to have a single wizard screen that allowed you to set a base URL and then specify the push ssh in the same place. I'll stop there as obviously coming up with a good design for that that isn't totally confusing isn't trivial.

2a: fix proposed at http://egit.eclipse.org/r/#change,2191
2b: is already fixed with change http://egit.eclipse.org/r/#change,2103

With respect to the push and fetch configuration handling, change http://egit.eclipse.org/r/#change,2163 proposes a simplified handling of this whole issue. I suggest to follow-up in the corresponding bug.
