Description Pamela Fong CLA 2010-11-27 18:35:48 EST
Build Identifier: M20100211-1343

The "Install New Software" dialog is not completely visible on a low-resolution 800x480 console display of an ASUS 701SD netbook. The textbox that allows selection of software packages to install is not visible; the display is compressed, and resizing or moving the window doesn't help.

Linux 701sd 2.6.35-23-generic-pae #40-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 17 22:32:51 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

To workaround, have to connect an external monitor or ssh from an X11 server having a larger display.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Eclipse. Click the menu item, Help|Install New Software.
2. In the "Work with:" window, select "Galileo Update Site..."
3. Unable to view the list of available packages to install.

Not sure how to deal with that. Somehow I would have expected SWT to adapt the dialog size automatically. Susan?
