Description Sam Davis CLA 2010-11-25 20:57:14 EST
The "Move to" menu doesn't actually move tasks, it just adds them to a category, so it should be renamed "Add to" so as not to be misleading.
Comment 1 Sam Davis CLA 2010-11-26 12:33:34 EST
Correction: the "move to" menu on a task that does not belong to any category should be named "add to [category]", since the task remains under the query. The "move to" menu on a task that does belong to a category should be named "move to" (or "change category to").

Alternately, in both cases the menu could just be named "set category to." I think that would be more clear than the current name.
Comment 2 Steffen Pingel CLA 2010-11-26 18:10:26 EST
It depends... if a task is already in a category the action will move it. I agree that this inconsistent and should be fixed though but we may need to change the meaning of the menu (bug
Comment 3 Sam Davis CLA 2010-12-07 15:04:26 EST
I suggest just changing it to "Set Category" since that covers both cases and is a clear improvement over the current name IMO.
Comment 4 Steffen Pingel CLA 2010-12-07 16:46:01 EST
+1 should be easy enough.
Comment 5 Steffen Pingel CLA 2010-12-09 10:41:58 EST
