Description Henrik Lindberg CLA 2010-11-18 19:30:33 EST
The documentation (on the wiki) states that it is possible to include delimiter characters in a "s" specification, but this does not seem to work. When using a character specification with an "a" it also did not work. With a "S" it did however work as expected.

S=[A-Za-z~+.:]; works as expected
s=[A-Za-z~+.:]; does not (seem to) work
a=[A-Za-z~+.:]; does not (seem to) work

Either the documentation or the implementation should change.
Comment 1 Thomas Hallgren CLA 2010-11-19 01:24:39 EST
We should add unit tests to cover those cases.
Comment 2 Henrik Lindberg CLA 2010-11-19 10:24:50 EST
Sure, but if the documentation is wrong (i.e. it should not be possible to have delimiters in the character set for "s" and "a") then there is not all that much to test :)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
