Description Yves YANG CLA 2010-11-15 09:24:49 EST
I need the write permission to publish the build. Please give me (yvyang) this permission on this folder and its subfolders:
/home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org/tools/ve/
Comment 1 Yves YANG CLA 2010-11-15 09:57:20 EST
Here is the error message I get during the build:
https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/VE-1.5-helios/75/console
Comment 2 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2010-11-15 13:13:59 EST
I've updated the permissions so you can write to /download.eclipse.org/tools/ve .

Comment 3 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2010-11-15 13:14:26 EST
Closing.

Comment 4 Yves YANG CLA 2010-11-15 17:37:59 EST
Yes, now I can create a folder in /download.eclipse.org/tools/ve if I connect to dev.eclipse.org via ssh. But the job from hudson.eclipse.org fails:

https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/VE-1.5-helios/80/console

In this job, I invoke
mkdir /home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org/tools/ve/updates/1.5.0

As explained in an email, Hudson cannot write to committer data, including CVS and downloads. An SCP/SFTP promote process should be used.
