A picture where the translators said the Simplified Chinese index is not sorted correctly when running through the EclipsHelp software.
Eclipse 3.4 has problems with sorting international characters - see Bug 248079 - Eclipse 3.5 or later should work a lot better. We are not going to be able to retrofit the fix for Bug 248079 to 3.4 so your options would be to move up to a newer version of Eclipse ( recommended ) or to apply the patch to a local copy of the help projects and build your own version of the help bundles. There is no way to turn off the sorting of the index without modifying Eclipse source. This is already fixed in 3.5, resolving as WORKSFORME, the resolution used when a bug has been fixed in a later version. There are no plans to retrofit this change to 3.4. |
